The 12 car was yet again a car to compete with last night at Evergreen. We qualified 4th and with a 10 car invert started 8th.
Patience was key as we moved our way to the front. Without the help of my spotter Jessie I would not have made it through a few close calls, but we did.
We took the lead and we’re out front for quite some time before being passed by Tyler Tanner in the 78. We had two cautions late in the race that made for an exciting possibility at being first to the checkered but a last lap caution to the checkered ended the race.
We finished 2nd with the car in one piece and a hunger for more come July 8th. Thank you to my crew, their families, my girlfriend/family, sponsors and fans. Hope to see you all in a few weeks as this chase continues.
